Privacy Policy

Nico is a GTM-engineering assistant by Macrodeep. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have — across the Nico web, desktop, and iOS apps.

Last updated August 10, 2026

Who we are

Nico is operated by Macrodeep. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@nico.build.

What we collect

Account information: the email address and name you provide when you create an account, and authentication data needed to keep you signed in.

Content you create: the messages you send to Nico, the plans and automations you build, and the outputs Nico returns. This is stored so your conversations and work persist across sessions and devices.

Connected-service data: when you connect a tool (Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, Salestools, Slack, Google, or Microsoft), Nico accesses the data you authorize — for example CRM records, calendar events, or email — to answer your requests. You grant this access through each provider's own OAuth screen and can revoke it at any time.

Usage and diagnostic data: limited operational data (such as request counts and error logs) used to run the service, enforce plan limits, and fix problems.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content or connected-service data to build advertising profiles, and Nico does not track you across other apps or websites.

How your data is used

We use your data to provide the service: to answer your requests, run the automations and scheduled routines you set up, keep your account secure, enforce plan limits, and support you.

To generate responses, the content of your requests is processed by AI model providers, including Anthropic and Macrodeep's own hosted model infrastructure. These providers process your requests to return a response and do not use your content to train their models on your behalf.

Connected-service data is used only to fulfill the request you make and is not repurposed for anything else.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors to run Nico: AI model providers (Anthropic and Macrodeep-hosted models), cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, and email delivery for account and notification messages. Each processes data only to provide its part of the service.

Retention

We keep your account and content while your account is active so your work remains available to you. Operational logs are kept for a limited period. When you delete your account, your personal data and content are removed as described below.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, directly in the app: open Settings, and under Data choose Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes your account, conversations, connected-service tokens, devices, and usage history. Billing records required for accounting are retained but de-identified. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@nico.build.

Security

Connections use HTTPS. Access tokens for connected services are encrypted at rest, and on your device credentials are stored in the system keychain. Access to production data is restricted to what is needed to operate the service.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise most of these in the app, or by contacting privacy@nico.build. We honor revocation of connected-service access through each provider and in your Nico settings.

Children

Nico is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
